The Magical Carrieres de Lumieres (Quarries of Light) in Provence. Next to the beautiful Provence village Les Baux-de-Provence is an abandoned, white limestone quarry. The quarry is carved inside a mountain and is made up of huge rooms divided by limestone rock walls. Since 1977, the abandoned quarry has been used for sound and light shows.
