SB Lady Daphne is a wooden Thames sailing barge, built in Rochester, England in 1923.She was used to carry various cargoes such as bricks and Portland stone on the River Thames and along the English Channel. She is infamous for sailing unaided from The Lizard to Tresco in the Scilly Isles, and safety beaching herself in two feet of water on shelving sand.

Thomas Watson (Shipping) had a tradition of naming vessels prefaced by "Lady". Sailing Barge Lady Daphne was commissioned in 1921 to be built by Short Bros on behalf of David and Stanley. When the barge was launched in 1923, David named it after his newly born first child, Daphne. Ultimately, David and his wife Lillian had four children.

Lady Daphne is one of the most famous of London's classic wooden vessels still sailing. 91 feet long (28 meters), 21 feet wide (6.5 metres), built in 1923 at a gross tonnage of 117 tonnes, able to transport 220 tonnes of cargo, Lady Daphne was one of the many thousand Thames sailing barges built for the English coastal trade from the 18th century until the middle of the 20th century.

Historic Thames Sailing Barge Charlestown is the home port to the 1923 Thames Sailing Barge 'Lady Daphne'. She was first in the Harbour in 1926 when she served as part of the Thomas Watson Shipping fleet transporting local china clay. Lady Daphne returned to the Harbour in 2022, sailed down from London by her owners, Sam and Andy.
