Oraya forms an alliance with Raihn, the morally grey and mysterious MMC. Oraya is probably one of my favorite FMCs ever. She's selfless, strong, and kind in all the right ways. She isn't hotheaded and rash and actually knows her limitations. Her chemistry with Raihn was everything. Their relationship was very sweet at times.

I love Oraya and Raihn so much, and my god, the tension! The longing! The unstable kingdom and the fight scenes!! Every single line had impact for me. The prose in this book was beautiful. I am in a certified slump now because of how good this book was! I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts and talk with you all about it!! Sort by: dogversushusband

But there's no room for compassion in the.

Opposite Oraya, is our MMC Raihn, who as I mentioned earlier, is a much-needed Edward Cullen upgrade. He isn't shiny. No, Raihn is rock-hard and the perfect leading man to match Oraya. They have such a slow burn and even though they are technically allies, enemies, to lovers, I loved every single second of them. Together and as individual.
